Going with the fact that I only have a few Anime Reviews, I'll go about reviewing the ones that have been a recent favorite of mine.

Honestly, I already saw the show's trailer earlier this year, but I wasn't really enticed enough to watch it since the male protagonist looked too... effeminate cute?
Puberty probably hasn't hit him yet though...
But then I saw this fanart some months later, and I couldn't help but wonder:
Deeemn, that's a fine piece of art, right there... (♥ω♥*) Fanart won me over again... :P
In the end, it's the fanart that got me shipping another fandom yet again, and I'd also guiltily admit that the series wasn't as bad as I thought it was in the first place. In fact, the female protagonist, Marinette, is a very endearing character.
Yeap, she's also a superhero (๑・ω-)～♥
At first you might think this is your usual "magical girl" series, where the female hero gets to be saved by a masked/mysterious ally (like the 90's Sailor Moon...) almost every effing episode, but Ladybug proves to be competent and works real well with Chat Noir (who also happens to be our said male protagonist, Adrien).
I take back the "too effeminate cute" part as well ヾ(≧▽≦*)o
What also has me waiting for the release of Season 2 is that Ladybug and Chat Noir don't know each other's real identities. Which basically complicates the "love square" our two heroes have with their "secret" identities. You see Marinette has this huge crush on Adrien, while he doesn't exactly hide his attraction towards Ladybug and really, this is how it their relationship kinda looks like:
Talk about mutual understanding without being aware of it... -_-"
So while Season 2 has yet to be released in order to show this "big reveal", I think I'll have to busy myself with more fanart and some fanfiction on the side. (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡
Alright, like I said, I've been scanning the number of my past blogposts and to my horror, I found out that I only had ONE topic under the Anime Reviews sections! (which was also posted like 4 years ago...) So here I am making up for it by blogging this recent anime I got intrigued with.
I think my taste with anime genres have changed over the years...
Fast forward to at least a decade since I watched my first anime, I soon realized that being an anti-hero doesn't always mean you're the antagonist in the story. Take this kid for example:

Meet Ciel Phantomhive, orphaned and already an Earl at the age of 13, he also gets to handle his family's corporation while being the Queen's "Watchdog". He's also on a one-way trip to hell. All because of this guy:

Meet Sebastian Michaelis, not much is known about him other than the fact that he's Ciel's butler. Oh, he's also a demon.
Together, these two get to solve bloody mysteries courtesy of the Queen, 'cuz that's what a Watchdog does.
So far, I've watched the anime and also read the manga, though I'd suggest watching the 2 seasons of the anime first before dipping your toes in the manga-verse, since the plot of both versions completely diverged during the "Curry Arc". There's also a live-action movie of this anime, but that's an entirely new post altogether.
At the moment though, the anime creators are doing a great job in recreating the other Arcs of the manga, starting with the Circus Arc and the Mansion Murders Arc being the latest. Definitely can't wait for next year's release of the Campania Arc!

I really can't get enough of this anime just because of the fact that I don't know what will happen at the end of it all, and that's something I can't wait to find out! (though there definitely wouldn't be a happy ending to this story...)
So it's a Thursday today, so what? Oh right, it's Valentine's Day... the day of "couples". Now don't get me wrong, I AM honestly bitter about this day to the point I "usually" don't go out, EVER. But I guess things have to change, I can't afford NOT going to school now that I'm in college, it's too risky to miss a quiz here and there. Suddenly this song reminds of a friend of mine, I mean it's obvious that she likes the guy but said guy has a girlfriend, although they've got some complications brewing. So maybe if destiny could have it, my friend could probably end up like Taylor Swift here. Yeah keep wishing, maybe your long time crush (or "friend"...) would suddenly see you in a different light, which will then end in a happy ending like the one in the music video.
Although, I think the guy treated her as the "next" best option (or rebound...) and like a saying goes, "If yo spend TOO LONG holding on to someone who treats you like an OPTION, you will MISS finding the ONE who will treat you like a PRIORITY." Happy Valentine's Day guys!
Hi pips! I've got news for you guys! Starting from now on, my blogs will be "auto-scheduled" or something like that. You see, I'm finding it hard to juggle reading some of my books and blogging at the same time. Now that I think about it, I'll find it more difficult to blog anything at all once school starts! So I'll probably be blogging a ton for a day about different things and I'll be putting them up the shelf, just waiting to be released, so I hope you guys wouldn't mind.
So it's Thursday today and it's supposed to be Anime Reviews Day, but I've thought of an alternate topic every Thursday so maybe I'll give it a try. What am I going to blog about? Well, I thought about "Music Reviews" or something like that. How will I blog about music? Well I wouldn't know, if I wouldn't try right? First of all, I don't know where or how to start but for all that it's worth, I'm happy enough to tell you that I can relate to the song. No don't be shocked, I'm a healthy 17-year old who has gone through stuff like these so yeah, I guess having an "unrequited" crush on somebody is kind of normal for teens like us nowadays. To tell you the truth, I had a really big crush on this guy during my first sem in college, surprisingly for me though, I made the first move to get to know him better. Yes I know, I've got guts but hey, I gotta make sure I'm not crushing on the wrong "guy" you know. So yeah, the sem ended with me being friends with him and you could say I did the most unexpected thing possible that even my mom couldn't get over it when I told her, I told him.
Although, I wasn't expecting anything in return, the guy's got a freaking girlfriend you know! Of course, telling him kept my mind at ease, I wouldn't just emo around a corner thinking "what ifs" and stuff like that. Like my mom would usually say, "Damn if you do, damn if you don't"; besides, I'd rather regret doing something than doing nothing. A little advice though, a guy like the one in the song isn't worth your tears, especially if he doesn't have a clue what you're crying about; so don't get too carried away by emotions. Remember, having a crush isn't exactly falling in love.
For me, a crush is an infatuation, like a passing fancy; love is something deeper and meaningful. Of course, I haven't been "in love" to really understand the word but we get to experience love in ways that we may be taking for granted after all, like love from family and friends. If you've got them in your life, maybe the romantic sort of love can wait. After all, love isn't supposed to be a one-sided thing right?
Hey, hey, hey! I'm back again guys! Today, on this lovely Thursday, I'll be continuing my blogging sessions. Now what will I blog about today? Let's see, I've been thinking about this topic for a while now so how about... *insert drumroll* Anime! There's also this anime that first comes to mind though I think it's a little old but believe me, I still got to watch this on Cartoon Network when I was a kid. From what I remember, I would watch cartoons right after I got home from school, the anime I was talking about would come right after a show called, "Little Lulu" or something. The memories are vague since, well I was only 4 years old then so yeah, I hope you wouldn't mind the possible errors.
So the story goes like this... "Once upon a time in the mountains of Mochi-Mochi, there lived a great wizard named Seravy. With him, was also his young apprentice named Cha Cha. Cha Cha is very clumsy in casting her spells but she always gets help from her friends Shiine and Riiya. Aside from being a witch-in -the-making, Cha Cha can also transform into her other persona called, Magical Princess. With her, the day is saved and Love, Courage, Hope wins in the end." Well, that was my own synopsis anyway, so have you guessed which anime this is yet? It's called "Akazukin Chacha"!

Yeah I guess that was pretty much a lame synopsis but hey, give me a break, I was no more than 4 back then besides I found those little magical "gadgets" of theirs real cute back then. (and maybe I still do...) So allow me to take you back to the time where glittering bracelets was a real hit back then, so this is how Chacha becomes Magical Princess:
The following lines are first shouted by Chacha, Riiya and Shiine, "Let Love, Courage and Hope -- Magical Princess Holy Up!". Along with this, the magical items: The Pendant, Bracelet, Ring, light up and the transformation begins. I always loved this part when I was a kid!
