And the Award Goes To...

As a closing event to my last college semester, we recently held an Awards Night last 19th of March, 2016 at the Manila Hotel. But since my blog is following a schedule, I opted to release this post today instead.

It has been at least 2 years since I last attended any of these formal gatherings, so forgive me if I've gone a little rusty when it comes to posting in the "Fashion Statements" section. Moving on, here is the gown I wore:

Front...
... and Back

And I think this would seem familiar to my past readers, but I decided to again use my silver accessories:

They seem to be more comfortable this time around...

Gotta love those earrings...

Forgive my feet...

Look at my hands instead...

Also, due to lack of time, I had my hair and makeup done at Petra & Pepita (Encarnacion Group of Salon) located at G/F Regina Garden II Building, Reina Regente Street, City of Manila, Metro Manila.

I do love the makeup used for my eyes! It wasn't irritating!

Love the curls...

Now with that said:

Tada!

What do you think?

I'd also like to thank Sir Ben Verdeblanco for my beautiful gown, his store is located at Stall 2J-3 11/88 Shopping Mall 2nd Floor, Reina Regente St., Binondo Manila. Also my purse and dangling earrings are from SM Carriedo, a.k.a SM Quiapo. My shoes, from Isetann Carriedo. With my toes & nails being done at "Perfectly Polished", which is located at the 5/F of SM Manila.

It's FaBLUElous!

Due to my now busy schedule, since it's my midterms week, I just thought of taking a break from my monotonous routine of studying myself to oblivion. So I thought of looking at my blog posts and found out that I have yet to blog about the debut that I attended last year on the 30th of November!

Finally! I have something to post in the "Fashion Statements" section! Also, the theme for this party was White, Black and Blue, so I decided to go for the latter:

Told you it was faBLUElous! XD

I've also decided to partner it with silver accessories:

They've got nice studs... :3
Simple, yet elegant... ;D

Azures... @.@

Don't forget the manicure! ^_^

Also the pedicure! XD

The result....

I'm fabulous! XD

Another event fashionably attended and it's all thanks to "San Diego's Boutique" for my gown (again... ;D), it's located at Stall 2J-15, 11/88 Shopping Mall, Reina Regente cor. Felipe II St., Binondo Manila. My purse from SM Carriedo, a.k.a SM Quiapo. My shoes, from Isetann Carriedo. The jewelry set, which was a gift to my mom, is labled Cote d' Azur. My toes & nails were done at "Perfectly Polished", located in SM Manila; my hair was done at Ricky Reyes, located at the 2nd Flr. of Robinson's Manila.

Finally my make-up was again done by my mom, Rosyel Sawali. She sure is getting better in the "art of make-up" stuff.

Pretty in Pink!

Due to heavy rains and continuous suspension of classes here in Manila, you could say I have a lot of free time in my hands right about now, so what better way to spend it than by blogging.

It's been a while since I last blogged about "Fashion Statements", but now I'm lucky enough to be able to share something from my recent "escapade":

An invitation & a gift equals...

Yep! You guessed it! I attended a debut party, (it's actually my first one...) and I've decided to sprinkle a little blue in my pink get-up for the night. See here:

The Gown!

The Fashionable Shoes!
This really cute purse!
These "Azures"!

My toes...
... and my nails!

Mix it all up and... Ta-Da!

The Back...
... and Front!

So now I'd to thank "San Diego's Boutique" for my gown, it's located at Stall 2J-15, 11/88 Shopping Mall, Reina Regente cor. Felipe II St., Binondo Manila. My purse from Landmark, Makati. My shoes, which I bought via special order at Celine, Glorietta 1. The jewelry set, which was a gift to my mom, is labled Cote d' Azur. My toes & nails were done at "Perfectly Polished", located in SM Manila; my hair was done at Avesta Salon, located at the 2nd Flr. of Shoppes@Victoria, #78 Timog cor. Panay Avenue, Quezon City.

Finally my make-up was again done by my mom, Rosyel Sawali, so you can search her name on Google and maybe she might give you some tips on the "art of make-up".

Fashion on a Halloween

Happy Halloween, guys! I know all my non-blogging days are starting to get on your nerves and again I am really sorry! I'll be trying to blog as often as possible now since I'll be back at school next week, I'll be busy, busy, busy! So anyway, today will be Fashion Statements Day and since it's Halloween, I'll be sharing a few "Halloweener" pictures which were taken at our local mall.

Just to give you guys an insight about myself, this is probably the first time I have ever experienced to see kids and grown-ups alike do trick or treating. Honestly! I'm kind of a little frustrated though since I've never experienced dressing up for Halloween even during my kiddie days. But enough of that, let's go straight to the Halloween costumes!

cute...
..cute...

...cool
...cutest!

Fascinating isn't it? Well it's not just the kids though, even the grown-ups tagged along in the fun. Of course, I think these guys are like professionals in their jobs, their costumes are so cool!

creepy...
...bloody...

...funny...
...scary???

Let's just try a family pic! :P

That's it I guess, it was really a fun day at the mall with all these fun events. Maybe next year I'll probably have the guts to go trick or treating myself. See ya guys next time!

A Fashionable Promenade

Surprise, surprise! I'm back after a long long day! Whew! Just came home from school to get my final grades for the first sem, and I guess I wasn't disappointed with the grades I got. Look below and you'll see:

Is it bad to expect having 85% in all my subjects?

So yeah, aside from school grades and stuff like that, I've come back to the DOM to do my daily blogging. Now let's get straight to the point this time, what am I going to blog about today? Well it's called, Fashion Statements!!! (...or something along those lines...) Anyway, it's about fashion, well what I deem as fashion anyway. So I guess I'm not really a major expert in the fashionista sense of the word, but hey, I think I've got a few tricks up my sleeve when dealing with this art.

Since this will be the first time I will tackle this sort of topic, it's safer if I post something about my own "fashionable taste" first. (I'll be putting disclaimers in my future fashion-related posts though, just to be sure...) Now let's see what I can use as an example... Oh I remember! Prom Night! Let's see... a red gown and a cocktail dress, gold-colored stilettos, and.... what more?

The Gown!
The Cocktail Dress!
The 4 inch Heels!

I guess you've probably guessed that I chose a red and gold theme for myself on prom night, well I guess you guessed right! Now other than a gown and a pair of shoes, I also used my handy-dandy golden purse! Don't forget the other golden "accessories", and a little pampering for my nails and toes.

You wouldn't know when a purse can come in handy sometimes...

An extra pair can always come in handy!

Trust me, these aren't the real gold kind...

My toes...
... and my nails!

The end result, my friends, is this!

Voila!
What do you think?

Thanks to all the people who made my Prom Night memorable! My gowns, courtesy of "Gowns & Barong" in Pasilio P #7, Ilaya Street, Divisoria, Manila. My shoes & purse from SM Carriedo, a.k.a SM Quiapo, where (in my opinion) all things are very affordable; the jewelry are from SM Manila Department Store. My toes & nails were done at "Perfectly Polished", located in SM Manila; my hair was done at Jesi Mendez Salon, located in Robinson's Place Manila. Finally my make-up was done by my mom, Rosyel Sawali, search her name on Google and maybe with a little persuading, she might give you some tips on the "art of make-up".
